How does your junk removal work?
Junk removal is a service that involved the pickup and removal of unwanted items from your home or office. Our professionals will load, haul, and dispose of your unwanted junk and trash as a one-time job or on a continuing basis, depending on whether you are a residential, commercial, or industrial customer. We have removed items such as couches and tables and even larger items like pianos.
What do you do with the junk?
Once your junk has been taken off your hands you will never see it again! We haul them away and take them to a recycling centre, a second-use store, or a disposal station. We also have a “Used Furniture Donation Program” that allows our moving clients to donate their gently used furniture to the Red Door Family Shelter.
What type of junk do you remove?
We are able to remove virtually any item in your home that you consider to be junk, except for hazardous items and junk that cannot fit in a truck. We can remove items that are made of metals, wood furniture, appliances, office furniture, electronics, garage/attic/shed junk, garden/yard waste, wood products, construction materials, and renovation refuse junk.
Are there items you cannot take away?
Hazardous materials and items that we cannot take include paint, commercial paint, chemicals, solvents, asbestos, oils, and oil drums/cans.
Do you provide disposal bins?
Yes, we offer small to large waste bins that you can fill at your own pace at home.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Our booking process is extremely simple! All you need to do is call 416-CALLRED (225-5733) and get a free DIY virtual move estimate and an in-house estimate.
How much notice in advance should I provide?
Booking your move or junk removal services within a 24 to 48-hour time frame of your move is all the notice we require. You can also let us know in advance to secure a team, depending on how crucial it is that you move on your date.
How much does junk removal cost?
Our junk removal costs are based on the volume per truckload. However, if there are extremely heavy items we will include a surcharge based on its weight. These heavy items are rare but typically include drywall, dirt, bricks, concrete, and deckboard.
